About Evan

Evan Chan is an Asian-American documentary + commercial cinematographer based in Los Angeles. Born to + raised by immigrant parents in eclectic San Francisco (CA), he operates upon a diverse foundation of tastes, interests, and formative experiences that collectively guide his head, heart, and hands as an incredibly observant + honest visual storyteller in the worlds of sports, music, and culture.

After being denied entry into his undergraduate film program, Evan said goodbye to the comforts of a formal education to seek another path for himself. He has since collaborated with brands such as Nike, Air Jordan, Wilson Sporting Goods, J.Crew, and Hypebeast.
